Original 1956 7" single. Company sleeve. Cat no HMV 45-POP 272
Matrix nos : 7XAV 1482-1N and 7XAV 1483-1N
Some hairline/surface scuff marks on both playing surfaces, but no heavy scratches, cause background crackle throughout playback - which is more audible on Blue Moon. Does not stick or jump, and no loud clicks. PLAY GRADES in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition.
The company sleeve is worn with a 7cm seam split on one side and some small tears around the die-cut centre. A thin polythene inner sleeve is included to prevent the record from protruding from the sleeve, and so is a used but clean clear protective outer sleeve (see pictures - The first two are both sides of the sleeve with only the record inside, the third one is with the polythene inner and record inside the sleeve)
The removable and replaceable centre is intact - and has never been removed from the record as the paper labels are fully intact on both sides.
The gold print labels are bright and clear. "56" has been written in pencil on the A-side removable centre label, and there are also what appears to be biro marks on the bottom of the B-side label. I have tried to show these details in the pictures, most taken with a flash and two without. (see pictures)
