From 1961, this is another one of those super rare records from my personal collection that your not going to come across that often. (( Both the original record and original picture sleeve together.)) This is the picture sleeve with the record, the rare Compact-33-single 37-7850 by Elvis Presley. The song titles are: "Surrender" and "Lonely Man". The record is 33-1/3 rpm, with the small center hole. I can only do a visual on the record, I no longer have a player for any of my records. I don't usually grade records, but if they were graded Poor - Good - Very Good - Excellent and Mint etc., I think I could grade the sleeve as Good++, and that might be conservative, it might be considered Very Good, and the reason is because it has no unwanted writing on the sleeve, no stickers, and no open seams, and no tears anywhere on it. It does have some ring wear which I would say is very minimal on one side, and slightly on the other side. The record I will grade as good, it has a small nic' on the very outer edge, with a small crack about 1/4 of the way into the playing grooves, but it never did interfere with playing the record. The vinyl has some scuffs, but again no unwanted writing or stickers, very light wear on the label, all the print is clear and easily readable. It has been played, it's not new or mint, it's almost 50 years old. I know the record plays through nice and clear, and it won't skip. At the time I bought it, I did'nt buy it for playing, I bought it because I needed this record with the rest of my collection. I have'nt played this record for maybe 20 to 25 years, It was displayed with my Elvis collection on my rec.room walls, and packed away now for a bunch of years, so its time to have Elvis leave the building. I'm not listing the record for a kings ransom, I'm sure the picture sleeve alone is worth more then my starting price. No reserve, so you know exactly where your at. I will have it sandwiched between 1/2 inch strophome when mailing by media, and if you want it mailed priority, please let me know.
