One of the rarest Elvis VINYL LP COLLECTIBLES around! A VERY RARE PROMOTIONAL-ONLY, EXPERIMENTAL COLORED VINYL PRODUCTION LP pressings of the late, great ELVIS PRESLEY'S last album prior to his death, the 1977 release, Moody Blue (RCA AFL1-2428). You've all seen the common BLUE VINYL (and later, BLACK VINYL) pressings (found usually for around $15 or less), which is how the LP was released to the public. This WHITE VINYL pressing was manufactured for RCA IN-HOUSE USE ONLY and not offered to the public!! Only a very few of these truly unique experimental copies were pressed for RCA executives only (copies are also reported to exist in several other colors, including GREEN, YELLOW and RED VINYL) and thus are EXTREMELY RARE! A WHITE VINYL copy sold at auction back on SEPTEMBER 5, 2001 (Good Rockin' Tonight Rare Record Auctions) for $1,495.00. Again, that was back in 2001! The record has only gotten rarer. Condition of this VINYL pressing is absolutely gorgeous NEAR MINT condition! Supposedly, these experimental pressings were issued without a cover, but we're including one here. Cover in beautiful VG+ condition. Original plastic shrink still intact (tear at bottom-right), with the original circular SONG HYPE STICKER affixed near top-right front!
