ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS’ CHRISTMAS ALBUM (LOC-1035) FIRST PRESSING from 1957
RECORD: GOOD+ with numerous scratches and scuffs. However, none of these scratches resulted in any skips or repeats during complete test-play. RCA Victor’s “New Orthophonic High Fidelity” is reliant, though general surface noise, as well as random “ticks” and crackle were noticed during the test. The labels on this Rockaway pressing are without any writing or stickers but show several light spindle marks on both sides. The matrix numbers end with 4S/3S.
COVER: VG- with the expected splitting along the gold-lettered spine. It’s amazing that the spine remains nearly fully legible! There is also wear along the upper and lower edges as well as wear to all four corners. The two corners at the open end have only begun to split and at this point, should be regarded simply as corner wear. There is no tape, writing or staple holes anywhere on this cover but there is a stain seen at the right-hand edge of the front. There is no musty, basement-like odor on or inside this cover as is the case with a good number of these! The bound-in Photo Album remains in beautiful condition with no writing or any creases/bends on the pages. It is as clean and bright as it was during Christmastime, 1957! The original “RCA Victor” inner sleeve is included.
GOOD LUCK!
First and foremost, I do NOT practice the use of "file photos" because I do not believe in it. Using file photos can be misleading to unsuspecting buyers to believe that they will receive an item superior to that which they will receive upon purchase. All of the records in my listings are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within 3 (Three) business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.
All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay! I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.
2024 marks 46 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley because he is "The King".
