ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS’ CHRISTMAS ALBUM (LPM-1951) RARE “MONO” HOLLYWOOD LABELS!

RECORD: VG- with many light scratches and scuffs, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. A short, mild warp is noticed toward the outer edge, and this does not have any affect on the audible performance. This Hollywood pressing does play with some “crackle” or general surface noise expected from a record in this grade. A feelable scratch on “White Christmas” does result in definite audible “ticks”. These Silver Top “MONO” copies were primarily pressed at the Hollywood pressing plant in 1963-64, a very short time, prior to the ultra-common and ubiquitous  “White Top – Monaural” issue which lasted from 1964 through 1968.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. However, there is some edge and corner wear as well as some light to moderate ring wear on both sides. The back slick was still being used as late as the Christmas of 1963, as shown here. It was replaced in 1964 with the more common “holly leaf” slick also depicting Elvis’ “His Hand in Mine” album. The original gray “RCA Victor” inner sleeve is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.

Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay! I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.
