This is Elvis Presley’s second hits compilation, released at the height of his late-1950s dominance and capturing the transition from early rock and roll to polished pop balladry. Issued in 1959, this volume collects chart-topping singles recorded between 1956 and 1958, presenting them in their original mono mixes as originally heard on radio and jukeboxes.
