Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1972 PROMO COPY of the 1972 Elvis Presley LP titled 'Elvis Now', with promo timing strip affixed to the upper left front cover and a cut lower right corner also indicating a promo copy. It is an RCA Victor 'Dynaflex' LP, catalog number LSP-4671, orange labels. Record comes packaged inside the cover in an original 1972 vintage inner sleeve showing Elvis Presley's then-current cassette tape catalog. THE PACKAGE ALSO INCLUDES AN ORIGINAL 1972 LAS VEGAS HILTON MENU WITH ELVIS'S PICTURE ON ITS PINK FRONT COVER, the pink cover being the rarest variation of this rare piece of 1972 Elvis memorabilia.
The 1972 Las Vegas Hilton Elvis Presley menu was included with this LP when I obtained it - My sense of how the menu came to be included with this LP would be that the LP and menu were probably obtained by an attendee at one of Elvis's 1972 Las Vegas Hilton live shows, the LP was either sold at the venue or given to VIP guests at the show, and the menu was either included with the LP when it was given out or sold to the guest, or inserted into the album cover by the guest during dinner at the show. Don't you love the 1972 prices of the various menu items?

Condition of record is a high VG+ with just a few light sleeve marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play - Record plays very quietly with almost no surface noise. Condition of cover is a low VG+ with a few slight wrinkles, some ring and contact wear, and a fair amount of wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no splits, tears, writing, or stickers other than the aforementioned large promo sticker. Elvis Tape Cassette Catalog inner sleeve has a small tear on its top edge, a few slight wrinkles, and a small slit cut into one upper edge. Menu is in nice shape with no real flaws worth mentioning.
This item apparently came from one of Elvis Presley's 1972 live Las Vegas shows and combines a collectable promo LP with a rare artifact from the 1970s Las Vegas era of Elvis's career - It would be a prime addition to any Elvis Presley record or memorabilia collection!
