ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS PRESLEY (LPM-1254) FIRST PRESSING with LIGHT PINK “ELVIS” COVER!

RECORD: VG with pleasing, glossy surfaces despite numerous light scuffs and scratches. This Indianapolis pressing has been test-played in its entirety and there are no skips or repeats, although there were some random “ticks” detected. High fidelity remains strong! The labels are without any tape, stickers or writing, but do show spindle marks as well as some wear about the spindle hole. This is Elvis’ historic debut album, released in March of 1956 and includes 12 great tracks, including “Blue Suede Shoes”, “I Got a Woman”, “Money Honey”. The matrix numbers end with 3S/5S.

COVER: VG+ with a 4-inch lower seam split (please see all photos) as well as two pin holes visible in the upper portion of the cover as though it was displayed on a wall at some point in time. Fortunately, this did not result in any sun-fading! There is no tape or writing anywhere on this cover and the ring wear is virtually non-existent! The spine and upper edge are fully legible and solid. A gray RCA Victor inner sleeve is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
