Description
This is an original 1956 RCAVictor EP (Extended Play) 45 rpm record and picture cover by Elvis Presley (his first EP release), titled simply "Elvis Presley" on RCA EPA-747, black label with dog at the top of the label. This RCA EP was issued with several different label variations. This label variation has "P.D." (public domain) as the song credit below "Just Because" on side 2. The record still has glossy vinyl, but does have small, light "paper" type surface scuffs. Playback is problem-free, nice vocals and sound. The labels look real good, very little wear. The picture cover was also issued with many variations, including 4 different "ad back" (pictures of RCA albums by other artists) versions. This variation has album covers by (clockwise from top right) Eddie Fisher, Perry Como, Dinah Shore, Harry Belafonte, and Eartha Kitt. The cover is in pretty good shape, no seam splits, with light handling and surface wear. Both record and cover get VG+ ratings, a nice addition to your Elvis collection.
