Rare (in condition as truly NEAR MINT as this), original UK 1964 7" MONO EP :

Surely there are very few copies of this classic Elvis EP in better condition than this!!!
On the RCA VICTOR record label, catalogue number RCX 7143
Matrix Numbers : Side 1 - G2WH - 7213- 2K, Side 2 - G2WH - 7214 - 2K
with STAMPERS "I" and "1", and "1" and "C" on sides 1 and 2 respectively

The record has been played only a few times (and I really do mean a "few" times) and the vinyl is in virtually flawless condition - completely flat with no hint of warping whatsoever, the original sheen and beautiful glossy shine is still virtually 100% intact, even the start-up dead wax areas are gleaming (sometimes these are the problem areas on vinyl, having "dulled" and suffered from handling blemishes resulting in "crackle" intro...none of that here at all). In fact I'm struggling to detect any faults whatsoever with the apearance and condition of the vinyl...remarkable for a piece of vinyl some 48 years of age!
The labels are pristine, in virtually as good a condition as the day the record was bought...remarkable!
The quality of the audio is wonderful : MONO at it's very best - I have listened avidly to each side and I honestly find it difficult to fault. No pops, clicks, jumps, or interference. Even the quieter songs ("First In Line", for example) play through perfectly. Just brilliant mid 60's Elvis!
Comes with original front laminated MacNeill outer sleeve, which is near perfect : beautifully "fresh" with vibrant colours on the laminated front side, with no scuffing (not even on the edges) a beautiful rigid spine, and the corners are firm, clearly defined, and with no creasing or scuffing whatsoever! If I was to be really picky the front edges and reverse "flip overs" may be showing very, very faint signs of age discolouration but even this is insignificant.
A wonderful copy of a timeless Elvis classic. Considering that this is now 48 years old I doubt that there are many of the original copies in better condition than this. This whole item - the record, the labels, the outer sleeve, and the quality of the audio - truly are NEAR MINT!

My record grading adheres to the “Record Collector” guide, which has established a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records. These indicate the amount of wear and tear the disc, sleeve, and other items (such as lyric inserts) have been subject to and the condition that they are in at present. The seven standard condition categories, and descriptions of what each one means, are listed below:
Mint
The records itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items, such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and /or creasing.
Very Good
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents are torn, stained and/or defaced
Poor
The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents are badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad
The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
