ELVIS PRESLEY – FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS (LSP-4155) FIRST PRESSING in FULL SHRINK WRAP with SHRINK STICKER and NEAR MINT BONUS PHOTO!
RECORD: GOOD with clean, glossy surfaces! However, under a bright light, we see several light scuffs as well as a feelable scratch on Side 2, Track 4 (“True Love Travels on a Gravel Road”), which will most definitely result in audible disturbance such as “pops” or even skips or the dreaded repeats! First pressings of this record are very rare in true Near Mint because being Elvis’ best album since 1964’s “Roustabout”, they were played numerous times and subjected to a good amount of scratching along the way. The labels on this Indianapolis pressing are beautiful and show light spindle marks mainly on the Side 2 label. This album was released in June of 1969 and includes the hit single, “In The Ghetto / Any Day Now”.
COVER: NM- with full original shrink wrap! The only reason for the “minus” in the assigned grade is due to some wear along the upper and lower edges, near the open end where the shrink had split for approximately 2 inches in length. There are no further tears in the shrink wrap. The Shrink Sticker, hyping the Bonus Photo inside the album remains strongly affixed to the shrink wrap on the front, though “Jax Music” placed there $3.98 price sticker directly on it. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40D) inner sleeve is included.
BONUS PHOTO: NM- and highly attractive with brilliant colors! However, there is a minor lower left corner “bump” which also shows some slight yellowing. This photo is virtually perfect, otherwise!
GOOD LUCK!
First and foremost, I do NOT practice the use of "file photos" because I do not believe in it. Using file photos can be misleading to unsuspecting buyers to believe that they will receive an item superior to that which they will receive upon purchase. All of the records in my listings are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within 3 (Three) business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.
All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay! I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.
2024 marks 47 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley because he is "The King".
