ELVIS PRESLEY – G. I. BLUES (LPM-2256) SCARCE “FLAT” LABELS! RECORD IS MINT AND COVER IS NEAR MINT IN ORIGINAL SHRINK!
RECORD: MINT and going out on a limb with this, but this Indianapolis pressing appears to have never seen a turntable! The cover was apparently slit open carefully, the record pulled out and “looked at” and then returned carefully to the cover! You will not find a nicer, more original example of this scarce “Flat” labeled third pressing anywhere! Of course, the labels are in pristine condition. This Original Soundtrack Recording was originally released in October of 1960 but these Indianapolis “Flat Labels” were apparently produced from late 1967 through 1968 and just before production of the Orange labels. Your final upgrade!
COVER: NM with full original shrink wrap! A minuscule nick is noticed at the lower edge. Aside from this, the cover is essentially MINT! The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40C) inner sleeve is included.
