GREEN LABEL DEMO
Released in late 1960 this single-sided demo produced by The Decca Record Company was the B side of IT'S NOW OR NEVER, his biggest selling UK single to date.
Interested parties will know that these early green label demos are really quite rare (they were produced in small numbers) and this single-sided one is no exception.
However, as you can see from the photograph, the label has sustained damage (it looks as though a sticker has been removed) and the quality of the vinyl is probably best described as no better than poor to FAIR. Previous owners have not treated it with much respect! That said it is a very collectable item and in all likelihood the buyer would not be playing it. I kept it in my collection until a better copy turned up - but I did wait a very long time.
The low starting price reflects its overall condition.
