A great opportunity to buy a copy of a 7 inch VINYL EP from the 50's by Elvis Presley called "Good Rockin' Tonight".

This is a U.K. pressing released in 1957 on the H.M.V. label ( 7EG 8256). It has a total of 4 tracks (see photos for track listing).

Visually the record is in a clean condition, but has obviously been played many times. I always examine and grade records under a strong light and it is clear there are many surface marks on the vinyl, though nothing too serious.  There is an edge warp (see photo), but this does not adversely affect the playing on either side.

I have played the record right the way through and it plays without sticking or jumping. There is however surface noise evident almost throughout both sides and it is a real shame that such a great rarity is reduced, in the most critical terms, to being only in FAIR condition.

The labels have an ink stamp across both centres (see photos).


It comes housed in a laminated flipback picture cover in an overall VERY GOOD condition, there being small wear at the top corner and minor ring-wear noticeable when tilted towards the light. The back is very clean, but there is some minor lifting of the laminate close to the spine.


I hope this will still appeal to collectors, even if only as an upgrade for the cover.
