ELVIS PRESLEY – HAVING FUN WITH ELVIS ON STAGE (BOXCAR) – CLEAN COPY!
RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with beautiful, glossy surfaces! At first glance, this Hollywood pressing appears to be Near Mint, but upon closer inspection, there are a few light scuffs and scratches noticed. One of these short scratches does result in some audible “ticks” for several revolutions, but definitely no skips or repeats! Overall, this record plays beautifully. The white “BOXCAR” labels are also highly attractive, showing only a few light spindle marks. These “BOXCAR” albums were sold exclusively at Elvis’ 1974 personal appearances, according to Jerry Osborne’s “Presleyana VIII” (2017). In this guide, the album is valued at a total of $150 in Near Mint.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) and oh, so close to NM with only a hint of ring wear! There is not even any edge wear found. The only detraction that I could really find is a tiny scuff mark on Elvis’ microphone wire on the lower middle photo on the front that is about the size of a pinhead. A truly solid, original cover that any collector would be proud to display in his/her collection! The original “ELVIS’ Stereo 8 Tape Catalog” (55D) inner sleeve is included. There are a couple of tears as well as central edge splits on this inner sleeve.
