ELVIS PRESLEY – HOUND DOG / DON’T BE CRUEL (47-6604) with PICTURE SLEEVE!
RECORD: VG+ with clean, glossy surfaces. Some very light scuffs are evident, but do not result in any skips or repeats or annoying “ticks”. Both labels are Excellent with no writing or stickers and showing only a trace of wear, mostly about the center hole. This Indianapolis pressing plays great! This huge double-hit single was released in July of 1956. The matrix numbers end with 1S/1S.
PICTURE SLEEVE: VG++ (EXC) conservatively graded with no ring wear, edge splits, tears, writing, creases or staple holes. Some minor edge wear is noticed along one side as well as the upper edge. This is the variety showing “Hound Dog!” as the main song. Later issues show “Don’t Be Cruel” at the top. This is a very high quality, original Picture Sleeve!
