ON TO ONE FINAL RUN OF 45s OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES! - This is an ORIGINAL 1956 RCA VICTOR RECORDS U.S. 45 RPM RECORD containing the songs titled 'I Got A Woman'/'I'm Counting On You' from Elvis Presley. It is RCA Victor Records catalog number 47-6637, dog at the top of the labels, with horizontal line. The demand for Elvis Presley's music was so great at the time of his first LP release in 1956 that RCA Victor released the album in a few different formats, including the standard LP, on a series of three 45 RPM EPs with four songs to a record, and on an additional series of six standard 45 RPM records with two songs to a record - This 45 is one of that series of six standard 45s, and because it was not a regular single release this 45 and all the others in the series of standard 45s from the first LP are much rarer and harder to find than Elvis's other regular single releases. Condition of record is a mid to high VG with a moderate to fair amount of surface marks, none of which can be felt or will affect play, and two or three surface scuffs and scratches, mainly on the B-side, which can be felt and which will cause some slight ticks, no skips. Labels have a little general contact wear, no other real problems. I have priced this scarce and historic 45 modestly according to its condition, I will leave it to the bidders to determine its final value. This 45 would be a choice cornerstone addition to any Elvis Presley or 1950s rock-n-roll record collection!
