Description
ELVIS PRESLEY I WANT YOU I NEED YOU I LOVE YOU HMV POP 7M 424 1956
On offer is an ELVIS PRESLEY 45 rpm single entitled I WANT YOU I NEED YOU I LOVE YOU c/w MY BABY LEFT ME released on The PURPLE LABEL /GOLD PRINT HMV POP 7M 424 in 1956.
This rare PURPLE / GOLD Elvis 45 has lovely record clean record labels.
The vinyl is in EX condition and looks very nice and shiny – except for one mark on I want you I need you I love [towards the start of the song] that causes a couple of audible clicks – otherwise it plays beautifully on my BOSE hi-fi [on both sides].
The other thing I noticed is that it has a slight edge warp – which does not affect the 45 when playing. This is not a major warp and is slight only.
I have enjoyed having this rare and [highly priced] ELVIS 45 in my collection and I hope that it will find a new home soon!
The 45 is housed in its [nice condition] original HIS MASTER’S VOICE company sleeve. You can still see the pencil mark 7M 424 in the top right hand corner of the sleeve – that must have been put on in the shop or by its original owner: as it was there when I bought this rare Elvis 45 many years ago.
Please contact me if you have any questions. Good luck with this auction and please note my other eBay auctions. Thank you for looking.
