ELVIS PRESLEY ”I’LL NEVER LET YOU GO / I’M GONNA SIT RIGHT DOWN AND CRY (OVER YOU)” 1956 10” 78RPM RARE NEW ZEALAND PRESSING RCA 20-6638 VG-

A very nice looking copy that has retained a lot of its lustre, but has enough scuffs & light scratches to create a few pops and a light hissy crackle to both sides. It is more noticeable on Side One due to the lighter, more subtle song, and is far less obvious on the louder, rockier Side Two. There’s a tiny ding near the end of Side Two that pops for two or three consecutive revolutions but doesn’t cause any skipping. Both labels have impression marks and are quite untidy as a result. See detailed photos for a closer look at the labels, and where I have tried to highlight the scuffs & scratches.
All records have been meticulously hand-cleaned and archived in either card sleeves, plastic sleeves, their original covers, replacement covers or a combination of the above. Further improvements to playing quality may be possible using cleaning machines, but is obviously not guaranteed.
Playing condition has been ascertained using an AT-VM95 SP/H cartridge designed specifically for 78rpm records. Each disc has been visually graded according to the Record Collector Buying Guide, but I endeavour to provide a brutally honest playing description for each copy, as appearances, especially with 78s, can be very deceptive. I’d rather make you aware of any surface noise and or defects up front, and avoid both disappointment and wasted time and effort on your part and mine by highlighting, rather than attempting to cover up, any imperfections that I have discovered.

Records will be carefully packed and posted via tracked delivery in either card or plastic sleeves, or in original or vintage sleeves when stated in the description.
