Description
Artist: ELVIS PRESLEY
Title: “Elvis is Back”
Label: RCA VICTOR. Black label with white dog, silver text. Mono pressing on medium weight vinyl, with deep groove. Catalog number is LPM-2231.
Date: 1960.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is beautiful VG++ with 100% of original gloss, appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care. There are a couple very slight surface scuffs, not audible, but no serious marks or issues. Fidelity is excellent. Nice clean labels. Rare to find one this nice!
JACKET: Gatefold jacket is EXCELLENT with nice bright artwork and original sticker with track listings. Seams, spine, and surfaces are excellent. A few traces of minor wear on seams. Inside gatefold is clean and pristine. No writing or cutout indications.
The original gold factory sticker listing the song titles is affixed neatly to the front of the LP.
This LP was stored in an LP “tote box” during its entire time by its original collector, where it was completely protected from any wear or bumps typically found on vintage albums. It looks as nice as the day it left the record store back in 1960. Overall a gorgeous jacket – a rare find without even so much as a hint of ring or surface wear!
The original vintage RCA Victor factory inner sleeve describing the advantages of Stereophonic Sound on one side, and plugging the broadway cast album “Greenwillow” featuring Anthony Perkins on the reverse, is included in top condition. The paper has darkened slightly with age, but there are no crinkles, creases, splits, or other issues.
