Title:   “G. I. Blues”

Label:   RCA VICTOR.  Black label with white dog, silver text.  Mono pressing on medium weight vinyl, with deep groove.   “LONG PLAY” is at the bottom.  Catalog number is LPM-2256.  

Date:  1960. 

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is beautiful VG++ with 100% of original gloss, appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care.  There are a couple very slight surface scuffs, not audible.  No serious marks or issues.  Fidelity is excellent.  Nice clean labels.  Rare to find one this nice!

JACKET:   Jacket is beautiful NM with flawless front and back panels.  Seams and spine are excellent, just the slightest trace of wear on the top seam and at corner tips.  You will be hard pressed to find one this nice!

The original vintage RCA Victor factory inner sleeve describing the advantages of Stereophonic Sound on one side, and highlighting ELVIS’ other albums on the reverse, is included in top condition.  There are no crinkles, creases, splits, or other issues.

NOTE: This item came from a large collection of LP records that were always stored by their owner in a “platter pack” storage case, ensuring that the vinyl as well as the jackets are in virtually the same condition as when originally purchased in the 1950s-60s. The discs appear to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with the utmost care. Examples this nice are few and far between. Winning bidder will be quite pleased.
