NM Near Mint  - a near perfect, probably unplayed record.

E (+ or -)  (Excellent) High gloss & very little wear

VG+ (Very Good) Nice Gloss with a few light marks/scuffs, but nothing that will effect play.
VG (Very Good) - a well used copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and increased surface noise especially during quiet passages.

VG- Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.

G  Good - A placeholder record with a lot of wear and marks/scratches and/or heavily damaged cover.
