Description
Up for bid:
A 1956 U.S. First Pressing of Elvis Presley's iconic Love Me Tender Extended Play (EP) soundtrack release on RCA Victor (EPA-4006). This landmark companion EP features music from his legendary silver screen debut for 20th Century-Fox CinemaScope.
Manufactured at the historic RCA Records plant in Indianapolis, Indiana. It features the elite 1S / 1S master lacquer combination, indicating it was pressed using the very first master cuts generated from the original 1956 studio session tapes. Furthermore, Side 2 has "A2" mother/stamper stamp.
The vinyl retains a beautiful, deep glossy jet-black sheen. Under direct light, the grooves look clean with only faint, microscopic cosmetic paper wisps/dust particles. The paper labels are vibrant with zero peeling, fading, or bubbling. No heavy spindle tracking wear.
The jacket is clean, with solid unbroken top and bottom seams. The back liner notes are perfectly clear, crisp, and legible, showing an authentic uniform aging patina with minimal shelf scuffing along the spine edge. Free of ink handwriting, stickers, or major water damage.
Bid with confidence. Item listed will be Item sent upon winning bid. All descriptions are based on visual inspections under natural lighting. Item is sold As-Is with no returns or refunds. Please inbox with any questions about this vintage item. More pictures available upon request.
