Description
This auction is for a guaranteed original Sun Records 45 rpm release (1955) by Elvis Presley with the recordings of "Mystery Train" b/w "I Forgot To Remember To Forget" on Sun Records #223. This was his 5th and final Sun Record release before going to RCA. Vinyl has the number "20" following the matrix number in the runoff dead wax (see photo). Vinyl has good gloss with light surface scuffs and some scratches. Playback is nice, solid sound and vocals that overpower any background static during play. Labels appear to have a thin, hairline crack that extends from the center hole into the dead wax, but not into the vinyl grooves (see photo). There's some label surface wear, writing, and a sticker blemish on both sides. Overall, a good playable copy with a low starting bid. Please refer to photos for overall condition. Record gets a visual VG grade with a VG+ rating on playback quality.
