ELVIS PRESLEY - NO 2
HMV LABEL 1957 FIRST UK MONO PRESSING WITH FULLY LAMINATED FLIP BACK SINGLE SLEEVE, IN GOOD ALL ROUND CONDITION. PLAYS WELL WITH NO STICKS OR SKIPS ETC BUT HAS CRACKLE AND POPS.

Released in 1957 on the HMV label, I am offering today this rare and original first UK pressing of this hard to find legendary second album by ELVIS PRESLEY which is simply titled "No 2". The album features some great tracks including RIP IT UP and PARALYSED. The vinyl shows lots of scuffs and scratches but plays better than it looks with no skips or sticks etc but has crackle and pops.
The album comes complete with its original fully laminated flip back single sleeve which is not the best condition example that you will find but is better than a lot that you see offered. As you can see there is a small piece missing on the bottom centre and there is a tear on the front which has been repaired on the inside with acid free tape.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes with the weight set at 1.5 and I am pleased to say that it plays well with good audio, absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there is crackle and pops so more of a collection filler.
Songs on this album are RIP IT UP - LOVE ME - WHEN MY BLUE MOON TURNS TO GOLD AGAIN - LONG TALL SALLY - FIRST IN LINE - PARALYSED - SO GLAD YOUR MINE - OLD SHEP - READY TEDDY - ANY PLACE IS PARADISE - HOW'S THE WORLD TREATING YOU - HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually shows quite a few light scuffs and scratches but these are purely cosmetic. I have just played it through and can state that it plays well with good audio. Needless to say absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc.
The SLEEVE, The fully laminated flip back single sleeve is in good condition. No unwanted writing or stickers, but there is a small piece missing on in the bottom centre and there is a tear on the front that has been repaired on the inside.
The LABELS, The Original maroon & gold HMV labels are pretty clean, but showing lots of spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing etc.
The INNER, The original white inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
