Description
This is an original 1956 RCAVictor EP (Extended Play) 45 rpm record and picture cover with Elvis Presley's first EP release, simply titled "Elvis Presley" on RCA EPA-747, black label with the dog at the top of the label. This RCA EP was issued with several different label variations in regard to the print font and size, as well information on the label. This label variation has "P.D." (public domain) as the song credit just below the "Just Because" song title on side two (later pressings will credit "Shelton-Shelton-Robin"). The record still has glossy vinyl and looks clean, but does have detectable background noise during play. Vocals and sound are still real good. The labels look good, some light surface wear. The picture cover was also issued with several variations. This cover has a black strip across the top with song titles in white print, and text information on the back with a photo of Elvis. The cover is in pretty good shape, nice edges with no seam splits. Both front and back have some surface wear. Record gets a VG+ on appearance (VG on playback), with a VG+ on the cover. An acceptable addition to your Elvis collection!!.....
