ELVIS PRESLEY - PARALYZED / WHEN MY BLUE MOON TURNS TO GOLD AGAIN
1957 UK gold text 1st press copy of this Elvis classic with great audio throughout
Year/Label : 1957 UK HMV (gold text on label) Label number : 45-POP 378 Matrix numbers : G2 - WW -4922 - 1N, G2 - WW -4925 - 1N Stampers : XT1 4 / X11 MVery good plus (VG+) condition vinyl - impressive jet black sheen with a few paper scuffs/grazes on each side, only really visible when viewed closely under a good light and certainly nothing feelable or below the surface here. Very good plus condition labels - side 1 is near perfect, side 2 has the letter "D. BUTCHER" written in blue biro towards the bottom of the label. There are a few small and extremely mild spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label. The 4 prong "push-out" centre remains perfectly intact, as does the gold text on each label. Excellent (EX) sound quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, clicks, interference or distortion, and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum - negligible in fact. Both sides a great listen. Comes complete with original HMV red and white outer sleeve with no seam splits but there are two small tears emanating from the centre, some mile creasing, and the name "MALCOLM" written on one side.
Hard to believe that this record is now 67 years of age - a necessity for any serious Elvis vinyl collector!

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
