ELVIS PRESLEY..PARALYZED..../....WHEN MY BLUE MOON TURNS TO GOLD AGAIN...HMV IRISH PRESSING 78rpm I.P.1255 ..WITH"PRESSED IN IRELAND FOR THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD" TEXT On LABEL...Matrix nos.G2-WB-4922-1 / G2-WB-4925-1... Due to the very very small print run of Elvis Irish pressed 78s these rarely if ever show up and are amongst some of the rarest and most desirable Elvis pressings! The biggest problem im going to have is in Grading this 78. There are numerous scratches on both sides.however they are mainly lightish and may well play through without any skipping.I am unable to play it and wouldn t anyway as i would be frightened i would damage it! It could do with a professional clean as i have only removed any surface grim with water.I would prefer it was cleaned by someone who specializes in cleaning 78s.So i Guess GOOD would be a fair grade.I have included pictures which hopefully will give a better idea of the marks rather than a grading. The labels would be VG having no writing or biro marks etc.(see pic),there are no chips to the edge and no cracks.The record will be double wrapped and bubble wrapped as recomended by the 78 society and to my own high standards plus registered post only to ensure it arives at the winners destination ok.Postage will depend on weight and will be determined when priced at the post ofice at the end of the auction.Happy Bidding!
