Selling a rare 45 RPM record is completely out of our normal context, so be please patient as information is presented...

This looks to be in really nice condition. It came from a gentleman who worked at a radio station east of Cleveland many, many years ago.

THE PICTURE SLEEVE

The front cover (which is printed in black and white) has some wrinkles and a round worn area from the record rubbing from behind. Because there is no picture on the back side, there seems to be no round wear mark there - though some of the letters are slightly worn (not completely dark black as they would have been brand new). The only "flaw" really is that the sides that hold the sleeve together have come apart - we do not want to glue it together and will leave this to the new owner to be determined. It isn't torn open - just unglued.

THE RECORD

It looks to be in very nice condition (though we don't know how these are officially rated/graded). Running a finger around the outer edge finds no chips or nicks. The playing surfaces are free of any pits or deep scratches - though there are surface scratches when held to the light at the right angle. It has just been played on a new turntable with a new needle and found to play through both sides without incident. How Great Thou Art plays for a few seconds or so, at the beginning, with a sssch--sssch--sssch sound...which then stops.
