We have been selling some incredibly scarce ELVIS records here on eBay over the past few weeks, many demos and promos. So we have looked hard and found three more for you! These are nice!!
Here we have a green label, single sided 'demonstration sample not for sale' of "Santa Bring My baby Back (To Me)" with a triangular centre.
This was released in the UK in1957 on RCA 1025, it is an extremely scarce single even as a 'released' item. However, prior to release a few test pressings and 'demos' would have been made and this is one of them.
Collecting demos is fiercely fought among collectors as there were so few made and they are rarely seen. The are, in fact, better than 'first editions' as they pre-date an actual release.
Condition of the playing surface is 'near mint' with only the very lightest of surface marks. The label is perfectly clean with the running time (1m 52s) hand written at the three o'clock position.
