Description
Elvis Presley---"Rock 'N' Roll"---Original UK 1st Pressed Mono Album In VG Playing Condition On The HMV Label---1N and 1N From 1956---With Fair Sleeve
This is a UK copy from 1956 in mono on the HMV label, with cat. no. CLP 1093 and matrices 1N and 1N.
Vinyl: VG. The vinyl is in lovely condition on side 1 with just a few light marks.This side actually plays EX with just a little light surface noise in quieter parts. Side 2 has some crackle on run in and track 1 plays great. This side has a heavily rubbed mark covering halfway round track 4 which creates a heavy swishing from mid track 3 to end of track 4, which is very noisy and sticks halfway in 2 places. This problem gets better into track 5 and disappears after about 15 seconds.
Labels: VG+. Labels are in great clean condition with no markings. There is heavy use spindle wear.
Sleeve: FAIR. The sleeve is in heavily abused condition (although I have seen worse!) with tape and tears.
