Description

Please read the following desription, and study scans carefully,i will describe the item honestly. This is the first ever Elvis UK album, the original HMV issue. The sleeve i will grade fair,it is typical of the copies that turn up, it has  suffered a tear across the front, has been repaired with sellotape, and strenghtened inside by white card, presumably to protect the repair. The rear of the sleeve has a small portion missing from the opening edge, and has sellotape on the top and bottom flipover seams, with creasing and wear along the leading edge on both sides,i think "" is reasonable to desribe this sleeve. It was made from a very thin card, similar to the classical HMV lps issued, and with 50 odd years of use ,they do suffer! The white inner sleeve is in vg,i think it is the original sleeve? The disc i will grade vg,it has light surface marks on both sides, nothing deep or "feelable",the labels are clean,i have given this album a few listens,it played very well,no hiccups, slips, sticking etc, light crackle,in quiter moments, and in the run in grooves, but still enjoyable. To sum up,a honest desciption of what is probably, the most important and groundbreaking release ever, especially in that period, top mint copies go for a fortune,it is offered with a low start and no reserve, please feel free to email me with any questions.
