Description
Artistdetails: ELVIS PRESLEY.
“Rock ‘n’ Roll” (No. 1).
His Master’s Voice HMV CLP 1093 Matrix 2XAV255-1N UK issued 1956.
Vinyl condition: VERY GOOD+ ; the record does seem to retain much of its original sheen, so actually looks much better than this.The vinyl does have some mainly bag insertion marks here and there and some light hairlines, but there are no horrendous deep feelable scratches which might have affected play - not overly marked. Track 1 on side 1 has a very small nick (see photo) which can just about be heard when played but does not jump. Apart from this there are no hideous clicks or jumps– plays beautifully right through all tracks.
Cover condition: Fair to Good only, laminated front, fair amount of creasing/ageing/ lam lift and handling wear and tear, with rips at opening (see photos).
Label condition: Clean labels, no writing or stickers, some spindle marks. Not that noticeable to the naked eye but there seems to be some slight fading of the gold ink print - see photos.
Sound Quality: The record has been played through once and has a nice clear punchy sound with not much audible sound deterioration,bit of crackle between tracks.
Note: Would be sent packed using standard industry LP mailer with stiffeners.
