Record is from 1973 bootleg release
Sun Records "Milkcow Blues Boogie" and "You're A Heartbreaker". Matrix marked U-141-45 72 in the deadwax on You're A Heartbreaker. Milkcow Blues Boogie is Matrix marked U-140-45 72. Also marked or signed on both sides twice and marked 1973 by one signature on both sides. (The signature without the date looks like JDELL or similar) There are a few faint, light surface scratches also has dust, hair and a couple finger prints on the edge. There is a sticker on the sleeve that says it has not been played and was purchased from Sun Records. That may or may not be true. The original owner is no longer with us. The scratches seem consistent with something that has been moved around in plastic. I do not see push marks.
I’m not a record expert by any means but I did not play it just in case it in fact hasn’t been played - that honor should go to the winner. Also I don’t want to risk scratching it. I would say the record would end up being in the 8-9 range on a 10 point scale.
On Mar-18-24 at 13:49:58 PDT, seller added the following information:This is a Richard Minor boot. He used original stampers and original matrix numbers. The inscription is not a name. Its "issued 1973. He got into a fair amount of legal battles for copyright infringement.
