Back in the days when Elvis Presley was playing for $200 a night in little road house gigs and high school dances across the south, his first records were released by Sun Records in Memphis. Once he crossed over into the big time by signing with RCA, Sun was forbidden from running up any more of those first five singles. Through the years, they've become the most sought-after of Elvis' recordings, both for their rarity, and the primal rockabilly that is within their grooves.
This record has him doing a great version of "Milkcow Blues Boogie" paired with the up-tempo "You're A Heartbreaker." The record was his third single and was released January 8th of 1955.
This IS AN ORIGINAL PRESSING ON SHELLAC and not one of the 1970s reissues on vinyl. Although it’s got a few marks on the surface, there’s still plenty of Elvis left in the grooves of this original platter.

CONDITION: VG On a ten scale this one would sit right in the middle at a ‘5’ but as you can hear it still plays like a 7 or 8. Clean complete labels on both sides as shown.
