Title: Mystery Train b/w I Forgot to Remember to Forget
Label/Cat #: Sun 223
Year: 1955
Condition vinyl (visual): VG- both sides show normal wear and tear from having been played - a "used but not abused" situation. Each side shows appx. a dozen longer hairlines that aren't feelable and leave very few if any distracting noises such as pops and clicks. There is some background hiss as is present in almost all Suns of this vintage. I would grade the playback of the record at somewhere between VG and VG+. Hear for yourself:

Comments: Original '55 press of this canonical recording, Elvis's fifth and final release on Sam Phillips' legendary Memphis label. Both matrix numbers are etched in the deadwax and read as follows:
"Mystery Train" Side: "45-U-156x 20"
"I Forgot to Remember to Forget" Side: "45-U-157x 20"
Both labels are in nice shape exhibiting only minor wear considering their age. The most prominently detracting feature is on the B-side label where some red material was used to highlight over the "Vocal" credit and master number.
