ELVIS PRESLEY
THE BEST OF
----------
1957 HMV DLP 1159. UK 1st pressing 10" LP
The sleeve is the first pressing with half moon crescent flip backs and is in good+ condition having a 130cm repaired tear to the front bottom left hand side, which in most parts now just looks like a crease, the rear has a 55 cm repaired tear which again now looks more like a crease, There is some minor wear to the corners and the bottom edge and the spine shows several small crease splits that have been glued. The opening edge shows some wear and slight fraying. Sounds very harsh but does sound worse than is and looks
The Vinyl is in very good condition showing 5 noticeable surface marks in normal light one of which causes some light audiable bumps on Side One Track One (Heartbreak Hotel), the rest of the record plays virtually surface noise free, even in the gaps in between tracks. In Bright light the Vinyl shows some very light hairline paper cuts. still retains a nice sheen and in normal light and the labels are still clean and clear with very little fading. Comes in it's original poly linned inner sleeve
First pressing matrix numbers OXAV 289-1N and OXAV 290-1N
One in similar condition just sold for over £100 so grab a bargain at a low start price with no reserve
