GRADING

VINYL VISUAL: VG++. THE VINYL SHINES BEAUTIFULLY WITH A FEW BARELY AUDIBLE SURFACE MARKS.

VINYL PLAY: VG++.  Played all through without skips pops or excessive crackling. Deserves an ex grading on playback for a 53 year old piece of vinyl.

LABELS:

EXCELLENT UNMARKED GROOVED HMV LABELS WITH KT TAX CODE EMBOSSED. NO SPINDLE WEAR TO SEE.

SLEEVE: FAIR.

UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS WHAT LETS THE WHOLE PACKAGE DOWN. ALTHOUGH THE COVER HAS NO INK OR PEN MARKS ON EITHER FRONT OR BACK, IT HAS SUFFERED THROUGH AGE AND HAS APIECE MISSING FROM THE FRONT AND A SMALL 1 INCH TEAR ON THE BACK. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS .

INNER:

I BELIEVE THIS TO BE THE ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE WITH THE "TAKE GOOD GARE OF" WRITING. NO RIPS OR TEARS, NO INK MARKS. GRADED VG. SOME YELLOWING WITH AGE.

 

 MINT:
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks
or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played,
but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times,
but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,
without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:
The record has been played so much
that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated,
perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding,
scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:
The record is still just playable but it has not been cared for properly 
and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. 
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
