Description
"That's All Right"/"Blue Moon Of Kentucky" (RCA) 47-6380 MINT-
While it was his first commercial recording, this is Elvis' second RCA single- issued in late 1955 just after his catalog was transferred from Sun. Sam Phillips captured Elvis Presley, Scotty Moore & Bill Black in an unclassifiable performance of Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup's blues "That's All Right Mama" & Bill Monroe's bluegrass "Blue Moon of Kentucky" in July, 1954 & the rest is history. Rock'n'roll, as we know it, was born! This is the original U.S. RCA mono pressing (47-6380) from 1955- it was soon replaced with the "Gold Standard Series" 45 with the 447 prefix. It has the U.S. RCA black "dog on top" labels. The record is in beautiful, rarely played condition with no scratches or scuffs on either side but shows slight spindle wear on "That's All Right". Complete with the original generic RCA sleeve.
