ELVIS PRESLEY THE BEST OF ELVIS
Issue : UK 1st 10" PRESS Label : HMV RECORDS Catalogue No : DLP 1159
This is the scarce UK 1st 10” press of ‘The Best of Elvis.’ This earliest press is on the original half moon HMV label. The sleeve is laminated and also has the half moon laminated flipbacks.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has a sensational mirrored gloss, just a few very light wispy marks on both sides. The label is bright and completely clean. The colours are solid and unworn, the text is exceptionally sharp and there is just the slightest spindle wear. The record is complete with the original inner sleeve.
When played the sound is Excellent. There is exceptional audio separation and clarity throughout. There is a little noise but the sound is very rich and vibrant.
The sleeve is in Good condition. The colours are extremely bright and the image is sharp. There are a couple of tears on the spine and a long tear on the bottom edge. The sleeve is still very solid and the back of the sleeve is superb, very bright and clean.
