Awesome 112 track career spanning box set.

Digitally remastered – DMM (Direct Metal Mastering).

With 12 page booklet and the easily lost Reader’s Digest ‘guarantee’ certificate.  

CONDITION:       U.K. MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM USED.  It’s in my best interests to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition.  If in doubt, I tend to under-grade to avoid buyer disappointment.   Vinyl is play tested at volume on quality audio equipment.  Please note; there may be minor variations in the audible level of background surface noise/light crackle/dust pops from one turntable set-up to another.  Used records are cleaned with L'art Du Son fluid using a Moth vacuum record cleaning machine, unless condition deems unnecessary.    All records/sleeves are visually checked in good natural daylight or using 125W white/daylight bulbs. 

A minimum of 3 tracks per side, and all of disc7, have been play-tested. 

99% of the record plays at either EX or MINT, with just some very, very infrequent light pop(s).  Records have clearly had very little previous play.  Only issue below these grades is some clearly audible interference/fuzz on a couple of tracks on disc7, side2.   This is more than likely an issue with the pressing, rather than any mistreatment/excessive play. 

Visually, in good daylight, the vinyl looks VG+/EX- for disc7 and either EX+/NrMINT/MINT for all the other discs – most sides look as new.   Several light surface marks on disc7 (see photos). 

Most labels have very few light spindle marks – more on disc7.   All text easily readable.  NO writing  NO stickers.

Box is in VG- condition.  Some general storage wear/marks.    Would grade higher if not for obvious small patch of wear/damage to bottom left corner (see photos).   Couple of creases.   Faint writing indents on the back – only visible at a certain angle.

Booklet is in EX+/NrMINT condition.

PLEASE NOTE; Due to the reflective nature of vinyl discs, usually only the more noticeable marks will show up in photos.  I TRY TO INCLUDE PHOTOS OF THESE MARKS WHERE POSSIBLE. 

Record Collector Magazine Grading System  - VINYL

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
