Description

A truly superb and ultra rare copy of the 1966 USA release from RCA and ELVIS PRESLEY entitled " SPINOUT "

The record was released in the UK under the title " CALIFORNIA HOLIDAY " in 1966 but this USA pressed copy was imported by RCA UK  and given a UK number ( AFL1-2560 ) . Please check out the three cover photos.

 Regarding the vinyl labels, RCA UK ,in their wisdom, placed black taping over the RCA USA " Nipper The Dog " logo to overcome a copyright issue between RCA VICTOR and EMI in the UK because RCA had severed ties with EMI, who apparently owned the " Nipper " trademark.Again, please check out the other two photos.

Whatever the legalities were, it makes this album extremely rare if not unique, and a real bonus for any Elvis collector.

The record is unplayed and is graded as MINT, as is the sleeve. The record also comes with an original illustrated US inner sleeve.
