Description
ELVIS' very first record album from 1956. LPM-1254 RCA Mono. 1st pressing with the rare P.D. credit on record label. The record is in good shape for it's age, it has a few scratches but none that you can feel with your finger. I do not know how to grade Records, but from my research it seems like it would have a VG rating for the Vinyl and the Cover.
This is a VERY RARE copy of this record; with 1S/1S matrix numbers!! Which means that it was the very first round of the very first pressing of this album.
Since I have not had this record professionally graded or know how to properly grade it my self, I will accept returns for any reason. I want the buyer to be happy with their purchase, so if the quality is not what you expect I will happily provide a full refund of the purchase price, less the cost of shipping. I am sure you will be happy with the quality, but it is difficult to see everything from a photo.
The words "A "NEW ORTHOPHONIC" HIGH FIDELITY are on right side, not in the center like the reissues. No chips, writing, stickers or warping. The first release of this record credited the song writing of the song "Just Because" to P.D. - Public Domain. The song writing credits were quickly changed on subsequent pressings. The record guides don't mention this fact. But serious record collectors look for this issue.
