BUYERS-DON'T BE DECEIVED BY OTHER SELLERS.-THIS ISSUE WITH THE P.D. CREDIT IS TRULY THE VERY FIRST PRESSING. Serious record collectors know the high value of this record. Elvis' very 1st EPA record. EPA-747. Elvis' 1st record album (LPM-1254) had the P.D. credit after the song Just Because. This record also has the P.D. credit. ****See explanation below.**** The cardboard cover has some shelf wear, no split seams, stickers or writing. There is a crease on upper left. Original back cover with ads. There is a light brown mark in center. The record is in excellent shape, nice bright labels, no marks, chips, stickers or writng
****The first release of this record credited the song writing to the song "Just Because" to P.D. - Public Domain. You can only imagine how surprised the authors (Bob & Joe Shelton & Sid Robin) were to find they weren't able to get on the gravy train.
The song writing credits were quickly changed on subsequent pressings. The record guides don't mention this fact. But serious record collectors look for this issue.
