ELVIS PRESLEY – YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE (CAS-2472) RARE LABEL VARIETY WITHOUT THE “RAINBOW P”!

RECORD: VG- overall, with clean glossy surfaces, yet there are many scuffs and scratches seen on both sides. Upon test play, there was a pretty good amount of surface noise detected but then it clears up further in. There were no skips or repeats at any time during the test play. The dark gray labels show no spindle marks, writing and have never had any stickers applied to them. There is just some as-made stress lines stemming from the spindle hole. The time that these very rare labels were produced was seemingly, August of 1977, given away by etched notations in the dead wax trail-off. We see a circled “TR” followed by “PA-8-77” on both sides. These may have been pressed during the frantic time just after Elvis’ passing when the demand for his records had overwhelmed the pressing plants and some of these Pickwick labels may have missed the Rainbow “P” being printed on them. Just a theory!

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with full original shrink wrap! There is some minor wear along the open-end edges as well as the respective corner tips. Some foxing is also noticed on the white slick on the back side. The original “Pickwick” inner sleeve is included. One side edge is split nearly entirely and there is a name written on one side.

I normally ship within 3 (Three) business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.

Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay! In recent years over-grading of records has grown to epidemic proportions; typically, whenever you purchase a record purported to be “NM”, it’s “Buyer Beware” unless you’ve had prior positive experience with whom you’re buying from and can trust their grading expertise. I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
