"THE BEST OF ELVIS"
Wow Getting up for 56 years old!

Double click the pictures , did you ever see a better looking record label?
Total classic.
The record itself is full of hairlines but I was amazed at how well it plays ,unbelievable !
Obviously there is some surface noise in the quieter tracks like blue moon .
(My turntable is brand new and ultra sensative) wich made the playing of this record even more suprising.
Only on the very last track did the needle stick but when I increased the arm weight to its maximum it played
through with no problem. So if you have an older deck just put one or two pound coins on the arm (well im
sure you know the routine).
The faster tracks like Heatbreak Hotel and Tutti Frutti sound flawless !
From start to finish I would give the playing of the record 8 1/2 out of 10 , its that good.
Ive collected records for a long time and its been my expirience they improove with playing .
(the styluss can remoove deeply embedded dust particles).
The labels are really clean and an added feature is it still has its ORIGINAL 10 inch inner sleeve
and another suprise is the inner cellophane is still perfectly attached see the "Take good care of your records" +
Styluss info that surrounds the label window . Thats a sign of the times and testament to the expensive price of an item like
this back in 1957 when this was the newest in home entertainment technology. My dad told me in the 50s records were so
expensive only people with real money could afford them .
The sleeve for its age is in totally respectable condition , theres damage to the front visable in the pictures.
Tape residue here and there and on the back of this beautifull half moon flipback there is a repair to a rip
on the top left near the word Elvis but it dosent look that bad .
I think when a record is this old in terms of fairness the buyer should understand that some understanding is in order
here.
This record and sleeve isnt MINT . But I dont expect it to sell for £400 wich is the Mint Valuation .
Overall I would concervatively grade this sleeve and record and inner sleeve as VERY GOOD so if you want it bid with this
condition in mind .
It looks how it looks , it plays much better and is a really enjoyable record .
WHAT A VOICE !
Dad was right , thats why they call him the king !
