Description
ELVIS PRESLEY
Rare promo only EP
In late 1955, RCA came up with a notion about sending free records out to radio stations. They would take two of their releases, and turn them into one record, and EP with one artist on one side, and another on the flip. This was a money saving way for RCA to send out half as many 45s to radio as they felt they should. It was an odd promo device that wouldn't last for too long, as you could only file it in one place in the library, and only have a 50.50 shot of finding it.
This one is from January of 1957 and features the new Elvis single "Too Much." On the flipside are a pair of songs by some Dinosaur. This is DJ-56.
