This 7" Single has the catalogue number 7M 405.It is a 1956 U.K Original with Purple label and Gold Print.
This is an auction for the record Only,Sadly it has NO SLEEVE!!!!! Repeat,NO SLEEVE!!!!
CONDITION:GRADED AS PER RECORD COLLECTOR PRICE GUIDE.
VINYL:
Good+.Look at the grading below,I Use U.K Record Collector guide,and good is not really a high grade.I played side A,it played from start to finish without sticks or jumps,but had a light crackle throughout,not horrendous,but not as good as a collector would really hope to find,so consider it a filler,and Pay less than the £300 mint price suggested by the new price guide(I actually payed £20 for it,before the credit crunch,who knows what it is worth now)
I played side B,and it got a few Pops about 1 third through.I sprayed some Vinyl cleaning solution on,and felt a piece of crud with my little finger,I carefully removed that,and it not plays pretty much like side A,but there are 3 clicks in a row.I don't like to clean records I am selling,as I know others are far better at it than me,but I wanted to remove that lump of dirt.
The Vinyl has many surface marks,and generally looks either well played,or badly stored.There is something more than surface marks on side B,I would call a light scratch,maybe it is what produces the 3 Clicks,and I am sure that is non-reversable.I am certain a good clean would benefit this record,please don't bid hoping I have under graded it,I am happy that what I tell you you will get,is indeed what you will get.I am sorry it is not better,for both you and me.It is still very rare,so I hope to at least make my money back.
LABELS:
Very Good.They actually look a bit brighter and clearer coloured than my scan suggests,and have light spindle marks.
SLEEVE:
None Sold,I don't have it,it will arrive in a PVC Protective sleeve.
All Items are Graded As In The Record Collector 2006 Price Guide,in Brief these grades are as folows:
Mint-Unplayed,sealed or as good as an unplayed undamaged item,.
Excellent-Some signs the record has been played,very
Very Good-Been Played many times,no major deterioration in sound,despite noticeable surface marks,occational light scratch.Normal wear & tear on the cover or extra items,without major defect is acceptable.
Good-Played so much,used so much,sounds bad,many problems such as splits,stains etc.
Fair-Just Playable-not nice.
