Description
Hello and Welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE/ARTIST: "Elvis' Golden Records" by Elvis Presley on the RCA Victor Records label (LPM-1707) in vintage original monaural high fidelity sound, released in 1958.
CONDITION OF VINYL: VG+(Beautiful original "Long Play" RCA vinyl has a few light scuffs - please see photo of actual record). CONDITION OF JACKET: VG+(Jacket has light overall wear, age wear, ring wear, corner wear and edge wear, especially along top edge and at top right corner where it is beginning to split; there is a name written in pen on back at top right; the original price is written in pencil on back top right - please see photos of actual album offered).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Very rare first edition original monaural "long play label" copy of the RCA Records original issue of the very first Elvis "Greatest Hits" style RCA album, "Elvis' Golden Hits" in its original jacket and inner sleeve (please see photos). Back cover bears extensive and very interesting liner notes. SPECIAL NOTE: In my humble opinion, this is the single greatest collection of classic Elvis songs ever assembled, and this is its very first edition. Please don't miss this one.
TRACKS: Hound Dog, Loving You, All Shook Up, Heartbreak Hotel, Jailhouse Rock, Love Me, Too Much, Don't Be Cruel, That's When Your Heartaches Begin, Teddy Bear, Love Me Tender, Treat Me Nice, Anyway You Want Me, and I Want You I Need You I Love You.
SPECIAL NOTES: All of our albums are visually graded, but we will gladly play them to confirm condition. Please email us if you would like that service. RATING SYSTEM: New (sealed in original wrap); Near Mint (very light wear and uniform glossy vinyl appearance; one or two light rubs on jacket surface or corner); VG++ (light wear that is visible but not audible; light wear to jacket edges or corners); VG+ (many marks on record surface that are lightly audible during quiet passages; small splits, marks, or tears on jacket); VG (surface covered with light scuffs or marks that are audible during all but loudest passages; jacket extensively marked, split, or torn: note: we only sell this grade on very rare records).
OTHER POLICIES: We will gladly combine shipments on items bought within the same week. We only charge our exact cost for packing materials and shipping fees; if you pay too much we issue an immediate refund. We give you positive feedback as soon as you pay, and we appreciate the same respect from you. If you have any problem giving an honest 5-Star feedback, please let us know and we will resolve your problem, Guaranteed. We look forward to working with you. Thanks for looking. Jim and Diane
