RCA ELVIS113.  ELVIS PRESLEY - TICKLE ME LP.  SOUNDTRACK TO THE 1965 FILM, INCLUDING ADDITIONAL OUTTAKES AND DIFFERENT VERSIONS, GLOSSY PHOTO SLEEVE, LARGE FORMAT 12 PAGE BOOKLET AND ENTRY TO AN ELVIS COLORING COMPETITION.  Sleeve is still in shrinkwrap (opened), with a small amount of wear on on the open side of the sleeve (including a small tear/notch).  Vinyl has some light scuffs on both side that shouldn't affect play.  VPI CLEANED.  Booklet has some wear from being read but is in great shape.  Please bid with confidence.

Design

The design of this album is well done. It is in the same clear white movie poster style as the deluxe re-releases of ‘G.I. Blues’ and ‘Blue Hawaii’ and the vinyl releases of ‘Loving You’, ‘Jailhouse Rock’, and ‘King Creole'.

Included is a twelve page booklet with some background information on the songs the movie with a lot of covers, coloured photos and production stills. It even includes an ‘Official Tickle Me Colouring Competition’.

Content

We enjoyed putting on a new record for a review for a change. This album contains eighteen tracks including two radio trailers from Allied Artists for the movie. We get the songs from the soundtrack and the undubbed master of ‘I’m Yours’ on side A and on the flip side a series of alternative takes for songs like ‘Slowly But Surely’ (Take 1), ‘Night Rider’ (take 5) and ‘Dirty Dirty Feeling’ (take 1).

Overall these are some of the better moviesongs Elvis recorded. It is still great to hear some studio chat between outtakes since it gives kind of a feeling like you’re listening in on the session. The alternate takes are not too different from the actual masters.

The sound quality of the songs is very good, that of the radio trailers that we added is of lesser quality.

This album was great to listen to. It makes a complete package with the soundtrack, outtakes and commercials, finished of with the great package. Shipping:  All domestic and international shipping is done through the USPS, unless otherwise specified.

Domestic packages are shipped Media Mail w/delivery confirmation, unless otherwise specified. Delivery time with Media Mail is usually 7 days from ship date, but has been known to take over 2 weeks in some cases, please be aware of this.

Priority Mail is available upon request, you may contact us for a quote. Please understand shipping rates are determined by weight and location. If you are on the east coast, you may expect Priority Mail shipping to be $8-$9 for a single LP.

International packages under 4 lbs. (ie. 1-3 LPs) are shipped First Class International. Please understand that tracking and insurance are not offered by the USPS with this class of mail. Other international shipping methods are available, though substantially more expensive.  You may contact us for a quote.

Due to recent problems with the Russian post, we will no longer be shipping to the Russian Federation, please do not bid if you are located in the RF.  Any bid from the RF will be cancelled.  Sorry, no exceptions.

International packages 4 lbs. or more are shipped Priority Mail International. Tracking (to most destinations) and insurance (at a fee) are available with this class of mail. For more info please check the USPS website.

We ship once a week - Friday morning. Paid items are packed Wednesday & Thursday. Therefore, we recommend prompt payment to insure same-week shipping and thus the fastest possible delivery. We schedule most of our auctions to close on Mondays, in order to provide ample time for payment. Please be aware that items paid for AFTER Thursday morning will most likely ship the Friday of the following week.

We pack our items carefully. LP's are removed from jackets, packed in sturdy cardboard mailers specifically designed for LPs, and secured with bubble wrap and other insulation. Double-boxing is available upon request, though additional charges for materials and weight will apply.

We are happy to combine multiple items in a single shipment. Again, if you are a winning bidder, please let us know if your waiting for an additional auction to close before shipping. Additional shipping charges for single LPs are $.50 each/media, $2 each/priority or $4 each/international. Limit 3 single LPs (ie. 4 lbs.) for international shipping at these rates. Does not include dbl LPs or box sets. If you are unsure how to calculate postage, please wait for an invoice, which will be sent promptly.
